This course provides an overview of the climactic events surrounding the return of Jesus Christ. Ever since His ascension, every generation of Christians has eagerly anticipated His return. The Apostles emphasized this hope in their teaching, and it remains a compelling motivation for believers today. For Christians, the return of Christ is a source of joy and purpose, while for unbelievers, it is a call to respond to God’s invitation before it is too late. As we study biblical prophecy, may our hearts be challenged to live each day with eternity in mind.
This Bible course is taught from a Premillennial perspective, based on the instructor’s conviction that just as the prophecies of Christ’s first coming were literally fulfilled, so too will those of His second coming. While perspectives on prophecy differ, evangelicals affirm the inerrancy of Scripture and share a commitment to God’s Word. These differences should be seen as secondary matters, and the instructor will present other viewpoints with fairness.
